    UMA3 training seminar on: ''Training in Innovation''

    A 3-Days UMA3 training seminar on "Training in Innovation" will be held virtually from July 5th to 7th, 2021.
    The first day (Session 1) focuses on "Intellectual Property Rights and commercial exploitation of the results". This workshop has been designed as a first introduction on the concepts, use and importance of intellectual property in the field of the aeronautics industry.

    During Day 2 (July 6th 2021), a Session concerning "Orientation to commercial approach and industry" will take place. In this context, commercial sector specialists from the participating industry will teach students how to define innovation and recognize it as a critical enabler to find quicker and better solutions for industrial problems.

    Last day’s Session is dedicated to "Entrepreneurship and skills necessary to start a new company". In this frame, representatives of SMEs and specialists collaborating with the network are invited to talk about their specific company cases as well as share their expertise on the issue of exploiting innovation produced by academia for boosting academia entrepreneurship.

    UMA3 article at the June 2021 EASN Newsletter

    The latest issue of the EASN Association periodic electronic newsletter (June 2021) has just been published. A dedicated UMA3 article is included therein, presenting the project's latest progress, activities and news!
    Moreover, the current issue holds, among others, interesting aviation and space related publications and interviews, as well as the latest achievements and results of several EU-funded research projects and news of members of the EASN Association.

    UMA3 training seminar on: ''A next horizon for Europe: the new research and innovation programme''

    A 3-Days UMA3 training seminar will be held virtually from April 27th to 29th 2021: "A next horizon for Europe: the new research and innovation programme".

    The first day (Session 1) will focus on training over the general administration of European projects; that will be particularly given to the staff of the research management/administration division of UniMi-FMSE, so that it can develop the high-level skills and competences considered vital in project management and administration at an international level.

    During the second day, a Brainstorming session among the consortium members will take place, regarding incoming project ideas that would be relevant to the skills and interests of University of Miskolc.

    The last day (Session 3) is dedicated to the topic: "The need of circular economy approach in aeronautics and aerospace", an emerging concept for the aviation industry. In this frame, relevant speeches will be held from members of the consortium as well as from invited guest speakers from the industry.

    1st UMA3 seminar takes place!

    The first UMA3 seminar on “European funding best practices: Succeeding into the new research and innovation programme Horizon Europe” will be held virtually on April 21st 2021, on 9:30-12:30 CET. The seminar is organized by the UMA3 partner, ICAMCYL.

    Horizon Europe, the next research and innovation programme for 2021-2027, will be introduced, as well as, among others, useful information and tips about the new processes, conditions, eligibility and evaluation criteria will be shared.

    UMA3 at the January 2021 issue of the EASN Newsletter

    The European Aeronautics Science Network (EASN) publishes on a regular basis an electronic newsletter which is distributed to several thousands of aerospace-related researchers and scientists throughout Europe.

    An article has been published at the January 2021 issue, introducing the concept, main objectives and expected impact of the UMA3 project.

    UMA3 officially launched!

    The UMA3 H2020 Coordination and Support Action was officially launched in September 1st 2020. The project Kick-off meeting successfully took place virtually in September 17th 2020, with the presence of all consortium members.
    The meeting was very fruitful and the UMA3 partners had the opportunity to introduce themselves, as well as assemble and discuss about the activities, work-plan and interactions to be accomplished throughout the project.

    We invite you to look around and discover this new Coordination and Support Action of the European Commission!

    The UMA3 public website will act as the central element of the project’s dissemination strategy. It is designed to be the main tool to communicate and disseminate the knowledge produced by the project and make it available to the relevant target audiences.
    It, among others, describes the project concept, objectives, expected impact and work-plan. The UMA3 consortium members are also presented. The UMA3 website will be continuously updated throughout the project duration so as to incorporate the step by-step outcomes and outputs of the project.
