A new UMA3 publication has been included on the latest edition of the EASN electronic periodic newsletter (February 2022 issue). The dedicated UMA3 article presents the project's main progress, activities, achievements and news, including the latest training seminars and events organized and held in the frame of the CSA.

UMA3 Mid-term review meeting took place

The UMA3 project has successfully held today, February 17th 2022, its mid-term review meeting! The meeting took place virtually (via ZOOM) with the participation of all consortium members, the Project and Financial Officers from REA, as well as the scientific advisor of the project.

The UMA3 Local Individual Scientific Training has been completed successfully!

The third and final day of the UMA3 Local Individual Scientific Training (TLIS) has been successfully held virtually. In the frame of this last session of the training event, four presentations on the topic of “Modelling and simulation, testing of materials” were given by members of the UMA3 consortium (UniMi, UniBo, Fraunhofer-IFAM and LTSM).

The second session of the UMA3 Local Individual Scientific Training (TLIS) has successfully taken place virtually, today, December 14th, 2021. In the frame of Day 2, four engaging presentations on the hot topic of “Additive manufacturing for aerospace materials” were given by members of the UMA3 consortium (i.e. UniMi, UniBo, Fraunhofer-IFAM and LTSM).

The 1st out of the 3-Day Local Individual Scientific Training (TLIS) of UMA3, has successfully been completed earlier today!
During today’s session, four captivating presentations on the topic of “Advanced materials for Aerospace and Aeronautical applications” were given by the members of the UMA3 consortium.

Tomorrow, December 14th, a training session dedicated to “Additive manufacturing for aerospace materials” will take place! Stay tuned!

UMA3 Local Individual Scientific Training (TLIS)

A 3-days UMA3 Local Individual Scientific Training (TLIS) will be held online (via zoom) on 13th-14th-15th December 2021 (13:00-15:05 CET). The first day of the training event, will focus on “Advanced materials for aerospace and aeronautical applications”. On day 2, a session on “Additive manufacturing for aerospace materials” will take place. Last day’s session will be dedicated to “Modelling and simulation, testing of materials”.

UMA3 Annual progress meeting took place

The UMA3 project has successfully held today, November 29th, 2021, its annual progress meeting! The meeting took place virtually (via ZOOM) with the participation of all consortium members.

The main progress, activities and achievements of the project as a whole, as well as of each individual partner were presented. Finally, the next steps for the implementation of the UMA3 project were discussed.

The next UMA3 progress meeting is expected to be held in February 2022. Stay tuned!

An UMA3 article, presenting the project's latest progress, activities, achievements and news, has been published on the latest issue of the EASN electronic periodic newsletter. The latter has been distributed to more than 10.000 aviation-related stakeholders and professionals throughout Europe, and presents, among others, interesting aviation and space related publications and interviews, as well as the latest achievements and results of several EU-funded research projects and news of members of the EASN Association.

UMA3 training seminar on: ''Training in Innovation''

A 3-Days UMA3 training seminar on "Training in Innovation" will be held virtually from July 5th to 7th, 2021.
The first day (Session 1) focuses on "Intellectual Property Rights and commercial exploitation of the results". This workshop has been designed as a first introduction on the concepts, use and importance of intellectual property in the field of the aeronautics industry.
